Hi guys first time I posted here, too bad the first time I post I have to post my problem. Ok I know you must edit the config.php file to change the default skin but everytime I edit it I receive this problem:

Have you yet tried to edit the config.php offline and to upload the new config.php after editing?
On your webhost, you haven't the right to write directly: Code: open config.php failed: Permission denied

Ah so I must copy/paste the file onto a word editor offline? Delete the old one? Change the skin? And then uplod the new file? Is that what your saying?

hiho, the file is write protected so its up to you which way you do it...
one way = in windows (local comp) right click the file -> properties and uncheck the write protection... another way = set the chmod with your FTP Programm to writeable f.e. to 777 edit the file / save it and after your done, change it back to the old chmod or 755. hope this helps. cheers |

I got it by downloading the file, editing it offline, then uploading the new file.
